Healers Urban Walkers Dog Booties are designed for everyday paw protection.

This boot was designed by a former Nike Shoe designer and tested by the National Guide Dogs for the Blind. It has a strong, non-skid sole (as compared to our Healers Medical Dog Boots) and the top layer of fabric is a shoe mesh that dries quickly.

The sole is thick but flexible, providing your pet with a natural feel and movement as they walk or run. The wrap-around design enables a snug fit so the boot stays on. The hook and loop applied is high tensile strength hook that creates a firm hold even in snowy conditions. All of our products are produced in Portland, Oregon with the highest quality material. No other boot on the market compares.

What's the difference: Urban Walkers vs Medical Boot?

The difference between the Urban Walkers and Medical Boots is the Medical Boots are soft like slippers, comfortable for around the house and light outdoor walking. Urban Walkers are like your tennis shoes, for outdoors and exercise; where you wear a tennis shoe, your dog would wear the Urban Walkers.

Why are Urban Walkers packaged in pairs when dogs have four paws?

Healers Urban Walkers are sold in pairs to provide you with more options when purchasing for a better, long-lasting fit. We learned during our testing with the National Guide Dogs for the Blind that the back paws can be slightly smaller than the front paws.

For many Medium to Large dogs, you may need to purchase a smaller size for the back paw. There are two half-sizes between the Small and Medium, and the Medium and Large.

The better the fit, the more comfortable the boot will be for the dog!

Excellent-Worth Every Penny!

These booties allowed my poodle to avoid the awful collar, and kept her from chewing on her paws. This is a great product. I highly recommend!

I had to return them

They fell off her feet. They were also too bulky for a tiny dog.

Urban Walkers for injured pads

We found the perfect solution for protecting and also treating ongoing injuries to the injured pads. Terri was instrumental in providing several options until we finally came up with the perfect fit for the medical boot and inserts as well as a boot for daily use to protect the pads from further injury. I would recommend the continuous and dedicated care we received from Healers Pet Care. This has been an ongoing battle for us for the past 2 years, I am so grateful to have found Healers PetCare. We have a large Munsterlander whose foot happens to be ‘between sizes’ and this has made it very difficult to find the right fit so the boot will stay on. He is a versatile hunting dog and very active. I will recommend Healers PetCare to my vet. and anyone who is looking for the perfect boot for their canine companions. Gail Bryne

Sizing and comfort level

Shipping took forever but they are finally here...I’m sure Christmas and COVID had everything to do with this. The boots look well made other than the most important part...the interior! where it counts. The seams are not sewn down...leaving rough edges which can...and do irritate my pups feet. Not sure why there is NO company out there can achieve this? Muttluks, who have been around forever...can’t figure this one out either? As for sizing, the smallest size seem to fit my Havapoo, she weighs 14 pounds. though, she probably won’t enjoy wearing them so they will end up in the pile of ill made dog boots I have purchased thru the years. To bad as we had high hopes for these boots as they are made by a company that deals with the health and welfare of dogs... I know they must care. Pretty sure I will have to get out the sewing machine to make our own boots that are comfortable and actually will be of use. I do sincerely hope one day a company will come up with a Fully thought out dog bootie...the comfort of the dog is of the utmost importance...or they simply won’t want to wear them cause it hurts :(
