How to make Turmeric Paste for your dog?

To use this paste, we recommend you add one part powder to two parts water, heat for about five minutes over medium heat (or microwave for about two minutes), stirring occasionally to create a paste. This will also help activate the curcumin found in the paste. Keep in refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Healers Golden Paste Ingredients:

  • Anti-Inflammatory Properties:  Turmeric contains an active compound called curcumin, which has natural anti-inflammatory properties. This can be beneficial for dogs with conditions like arthritis, joint pain, or inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Pain Relief:  Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric may help alleviate pain associated with various ailments, including musculoskeletal issues and injuries.
  • Antioxidant Benefits:  Curcumin is also a potent antioxidant, which can help protect cells from oxidative damage and support overall health.
  • Cognitive Health:  Some studies suggest that curcumin may have neuroprotective properties, potentially aiding in maintaining cognitive function and reducing the risk of cognitive decline in aging dogs.
  • Digestive Health:  Turmeric may promote healthy digestion by stimulating bile production and improving gastrointestinal function. It could be helpful for dogs with digestive issues.
  • Immune System Support: The antioxidants in turmeric can boost the immune system and help the body defend against infections and diseases.
  • Cancer Prevention:  Some preliminary research indicates that curcumin may have anti-cancer properties and could potentially play a role in cancer prevention.
  • Skin and Coat Health:  Turmeric may contribute to a shinier coat and healthier skin in dogs due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
  • Painful Skin Conditions: Turmeric's anti-inflammatory properties may help alleviate discomfort in dogs with skin conditions like hot spots or allergies.
  • Antibacterial Effects:  Turmeric has been studied for its potential antibacterial properties, which could aid in fighting certain bacterial infections in dogs.
  • Liver Support:  Curcumin may support liver health by promoting the detoxification processes in the liver.
  • Weight Management:  Turmeric can assist in weight management by aiding in the breakdown of fat cells and potentially helping overweight dogs shed excess pounds.
  • Arthritis Relief: Dogs suffering from arthritis may experience reduced pain and inflammation with the regular use of turmeric.

  •  Digestive Health: This may help improve digestion and nutrient absorption. Can potentially alleviate symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Skin and Coat Health: Promotes a healthy, shiny coat and reduces dry skin. May alleviate itching and skin irritations.

  • Weight Management: Contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) that can aid in weight management by increasing metabolism.

  • Joint Health: Some dogs may experience relief from joint inflammation and arthritis symptoms due to its anti-inflammatory properties.

  • Oral Health: Contributes to better oral hygiene by reducing bad breath and fighting harmful bacteria in the mouth.

  • Immune System Support: Contains lauric acid, which has potential antimicrobial and antiviral properties that could support the immune system.

  • Energy Boost: Provides a quick source of energy due to its MCT content, making it beneficial for active dogs.

  •  Brain Health: MCTs may support cognitive function in aging dogs.

  • Enhanced Nutrient Absorption: Piperine can enhance the bioavailability of certain nutrients, such as curcumin (found in turmeric), by inhibiting enzymes that break them down in the digestive tract. This can potentially increase the absorption of these beneficial compounds.
  • Anti-Inflammatory: Some studies suggest that piperine may have anti-inflammatory properties, which could be beneficial for various inflammatory conditions.
  • Antioxidant: Piperine has antioxidant properties, which means it can help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body.
  • Weight Management: Some research has suggested that piperine may play a role in weight management by affecting metabolism and fat cell formation, though more studies are needed to confirm these effects.
  • Brain Health: There is some evidence to suggest that piperine may have potential benefits for cognitive function and memory.

Recommended Turmeric Dosage for Dogs:

  • Small dogs should start with about ¼ teaspoon per day.
  • Medium dogs should start with ½ teaspoon per day.
  • Large dogs should start with ¾ teaspoon per day.
  • Extra-large dogs should start with 1 teaspoon per day, gradually increasing to as much as 1 tablespoon.

*** It's important to note that while turmeric can be beneficial for some dogs, it should be used with caution and always consult with your veterinarian before introducing turmeric or any new supplement into your dog's diet to ensure it's safe and appropriate for your individual pet.                                                                                                                   Not all dogs may tolerate turmeric well, and it can interact with certain medications or exacerbate specific health conditions. Additionally, the bioavailability of curcumin in turmeric can be low, so some formulations may be more effective than others.

I left a more extensive Google review for this product and how it tremendously helped my best little buddy Floki with what turned out to be a cancerous tumor. What I'll say here is, if your furbaby suffers with allergies, digestive issues, or, like Floki, gets the occasional tumor (cancerous or otherwise), I would highly recommend this product! You will be glad you did!

Back to the good life!

I have a 8 year old Great Dane Ziva was diagnosed with spondylitis this past spring. We did 2 series of Adequan injections and they helped for awhile. She was at the point of falling and trouble making it up 2 steps. I started with Gold Paste and after 3 days I was outside with my 3 days and there she was! Running and playing! I’m a believer!

Golden Turmeric Paste

We have been giving our dogs turmeric fro several years. We really feel adding a little to our dogs’ diets enhances their overall health.so glad we switched from ground turmeric tablets to this product— it does not have “extra” stuff that is not helpful to our dogs.

Ok Product

I have 2 dogs. One dig definitely didn't like the tumeric even with it in the hamburger/chicken jerky. Turned his head and would not eat it. The other dog didn't have any problems with it. Probably will not purchase again. Try it though. Perhaps your dog will like it.
