Healers Pet Care and Goodyear Rubber Announce a Strategic Alliance to Create Performance Dog Boot

(Vancouver, WA) February 4, 2026 – Healers Petcare (www.healerspetcare.com) announced a strategic alliance with Goodyear Rubber to develop a next‑generation performance dog boot combining Goodyear’s legendary rubber technology with Healers’ expertise in canine boot design and paw protection. The new co‑branded product will feature both the iconic Goodyear Blimp and the Healers Pet Care branding.

“For many years the market has needed an all-terrain, all-season dog boot for conditions ranging from hot pavement and rough trails to snow, ice, and city streets,” said Terri Entler, President of Healers Pet Care. “Partnering with Goodyear allowed us to create an all-purpose boot with a flexible sole and an advanced level of traction.   Healers popular dog boot design will benefit from additional durability and stability.  It’s a new option for customers that hasn’t existed in the market.”

The innovative boot was developed through a joint design and testing process between the two companies, uniting Goodyear’s advanced rubber compounds and tread engineering with Healers’ deep understanding of canine anatomy, fit, and comfort. The result is a boot that delivers superior grip, long‑lasting wear, and flexible protection while maintaining the comfort needed for everyday use and adventure trekking.  As a cost-saving endeavor, the all-season, all terrain boot eliminates the need for dog owners to purchase more than one style of footwear for healthy, active dogs.

In addition to the Goodyear branded exterior sole, the new shoe incorporates insoles made of memory foam, a dense material that softens with body heat molding to shape for pressure relief and support.  The memory foam insole will enhance pad and toe comfort, improve weight distribution and firmly secure the snug boot in place.  This innovative use of memory foam technology is the first of its kind in the dog footwear market.

“This collaboration is about bringing proven human‑grade performance to pets,” said Entler. “Together with Goodyear, we’re redefining what a dog boot can be—something that not only protects paws, but also enhances mobility, confidence, and year‑round enjoyment both indoors and outdoors. Your no longer will walk like a duck!”

The new Healers/Goodyear dog boot is scheduled to debut at select pet specialty retailers and online this spring, with additional styles and sizes planned as the partnership expands.
